II
Guidepost, probably 1870's, of cast iron. Octagonal shaft has CCC
embossed in ornate letters on raised shield. Plates with raised
margins and pecked corners direct to MALPAS and WHITCHURCH in raised
sans-serif capitals; renewed plate with square end to OLDCASTLE. Ball
finial.
