House. Perhaps C16, much altered. Rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys,
T-shaped plan, with C20 outshut to rear, and 1:1 first-floor windows.
Boulder plinth, quoins to right. In south front of main range, glazed door
below monolithic lintel to left. On ground floor, 2-light mullion and
transom window with renewed trefoiled heads, quoined jambs and hoodmould.
Above it, a 2-light mullion window with semicircular trefoiled heads,
quoined jambs and hoodmould. Kneeler, ashlar coping, C20 stack to right.
To left, projecting cross-wing with, on ground floor, 2-light mullion window
formerly with trefoiled heads, under hollow-moulded hood, and on first floor
a 2-light casement window in moulded stone surround. Kneelers, ashlar
coping. Projecting from left return of cross-wing, large chimney-breast,
incorporating mask corbel. Interior: within chimney-breast, chamfered
fireplace with segmental arch.
