House and cottage. Early C18 with later alterations. Coursed rubble,
pantile and stone slate roof. 2 storeys; 1:1:3:1 bays. Original house of 3
bays; some quoins to left; central part-glazed C20 6-panel door in'chamfered
ashlar surround with bases; ground-floor windows are C20 segmental bows;
first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes; lower 1/3 of roof stone slates; end
stacks. Bay to left an addition: quoins on first-floor to left; matching
windows and roof; end stack-to left. Bay further to left an addition:
quoins to left; 16-pane sash window on first floor; shaped kneeler and
ashlar coping to left; end stack to left . Cottage to right: to right,
board door in quoined ashlar surround; to left, 2-light casement window in
chamfered ashlar surround; 2-light casement first-floor window, probably in
matching surround; ashlar coping to right; brick stack to left. Interior:
cottage has ashlar surround to fireplace on ground floor.
