Farmhouse. Probably late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered, painted stone
dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, formerly double fronted out with C19 bay
added to left. Formerly central entrance has chamfered surround and flat head;
4 panel door, upper half glazed. Ground floor 3-light double chamfered mullioned
window to left and right with C20 metal casements; dripmould. 2 windows on upper
floor are similar, but slightly narrower. Eaves modillions. 3 oval ridge stacks
on square bases; to right of centre, at right-hand gable end and at former left-hand
gable. Left-hand 2 storey extension has right-hand entrance which abuts former
gable end wall of farmhouse. One window per storey to left, that on upper floor
is 2-light and incorporates re-used chamfered mullion; C20 casements. At rear is
C19 continuous outshut which is built into the hillside.
