Approximately 0.75 metres high. Triangular on plan with round-arched top.
Raised inscription painted black against white background: TADCASTER /
5 MILES / LEEDS / 19 MILES (on east face), YORK / 4½ MILES (on west face),
TADCASTER & H0BM00R / ROAD / ASKHAM BRYAN (around head).
