Milepost. 2nd half C19. Maker: Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast-iron,
fixed on gritstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top plate beneath round-
headed panel. Raised lettering reads:
On upper panel: ROTHERHAM & BARNBY MOOR / ROAD / WHISTON
On left side: ROTHERHAM / 2 MILES
On right side: BARNBY / MOOR / 15 MILES / BAWTRY / 12 1/4 MILES / TICKHILL / 9 MILES
