Gatepiers, gates and garden walls. Early C19 probably designed by John Clark
who designed the house. Ashlar and wrought iron. Roughly U plan, enclosing
three sides of a garden. Walls approximately 2 feet high, except to the corners
and flanking the gates, where they are embattled. Gatepiers, to east and
west sides, have deep moulded plinths and moulded capitals with brattishing.
Gates between western piers have plain bars with spear head finials, dog rail
and central rails. Walls have moulded copings. Included for group value.
