Circa 1800 two-storey cottages stepped up hill. Thin sandstone "bricks", stone slate
roofs, corniced chimneys, dentils to eaves. Three light square mullion flush
squared frame windows, bow window to ground floor of No 4. No 1 has a small stable
or barn attached with saddlestone to gable end. A good unspoilt row.
