C17. Squared coursed stone, stone slate roof. On left of plain stone doorway are
2 windows, one of 6 lights and one of 8 lights, divided by stone transoms and mullions.
These windows are tall and give light to what was probably the original school room
extending in height to the roof tie beams. In this room is a good stone fireplace.
To right of doorway the building was evidently of 2 floors and probably the school-
master's dwelling. In lower portion is window of 4 lights divided by stone mullions;
above it is a similar window of 3 lights; both with hood moulds.
