1825. On corner of Cunliffe Road, but detached and set back. 3 storeys. Dressed,
coursed stone. Pilaster strips at each end. Hipped slate roof. 5 sash windows,
end bays slightly set back and windows at greater interval. Wood bow window (of
6 lights and 2 half lights) across left side of frontage. Sill band on each floor.
Central round-headed doorway with keystone, impost blocks, fanlight and door of
9 vertical, moulded panels. Flanking carriage lamps on iron brackets. Curved terrace
either side of steps to door. Later one storey, lean-to extension to right, of
2 windows. Possibly later 3-storey extension to left, with small irregular windows.
Moulded large scale relief letters across front, of the same Ionic form as Crescent
Hotel, probably of circa 1850.
