Part of the design by Lutyens for Heathcote and its garden of 1906-8. Corresponding
to the pair of gatepiers on the opposite side of Grove Road, which flank the entrance
to the garden. Coursed rubble with banded sphere above.

The piers at the north east of garden of No 1 and at the north west of garden of
No 11 form part of the group surrounding Heathcote, (see King's Road) adjacent to
one another and designed as a single composition by Lutyens.
