Nos. 196, 198 and 200 (now part of Black Horse Hotel)

Row of three cottages now providing hotel accommodation. No. 200 has evidence of earlier timber-framed rear wall, mid C16. Rebuilt in hammer-dressed stone, with stone slate roof mid C18. Nos. 196 and 198 both have doorways with tie stones with three, three-light flat faced mullioned windows between with the same over, the mullions slightly recessed. No. 200 has doorway with monolithic jambs flanked by three-light mullioned windows altered in the C19 by removal of one mullion (now casement), with same over. Quoins to each end. Right hand end has coped gable with kneelers. Four stacks to ridge. Rear has single storey aisle with cat-slide roof and gable to No. 196.

Interior: Nos 196 and 198 both have queen post roofs. No. 200 has scarf joints to spine beams of main room, evidence of former bressumer and firehood (now gone) and king post roof with post and timbered arcade from earlier timber-framed building.
