Milestone. Mid C19. Single archheaded stone overlaid with cast iron which has
2 projecting sides. Letters in relief. Top reads: 'BRADFORD & HUDDERSFIELD
ROAD WIKE'. Left face: 'HUDDERSFIELD 6 MILES BRIGHOUSE 2 MILES'. Right face;
'BRADFORD 5 MILES'. Formerly a turnpike milestone for 'Wibsey Low Moor and
Huddersfield Trust'. Bears makers name of Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge.
