Houses with shops. Late C18 and early C19. Ashlar magnesian limestone,
graduated slate roofs. 2 and 3 storeys, 4:2 bays. No 200 on right: 6-panel
door and fanlight with radial glazing bars in corniced wooden doorcase; to
right is a bowed 16-pane sash with projecting stone sill, flush wooden
architrave and relieving arch. 1st floor: sash with glazing bars on left of
16-pane sash, both have projecting sills and flat-arched heads. 2nd floor:
matching openings to blind window on left of an unequally-hung 12-pane sash.
Paired gutter brackets to hipped roof with 2 rendered end stacks on right.
Nos 202/204: bay has panelled double-door and overlight with radial glazing
bars in reeded wooden doorcase under bracketed hood. Flanking bays have
bowed shop windows with projecting stone sills, casements with glazing bars
and wooden cornices; smaller, matching window to bay 1. lst floor: sash with
glazing bars over door otherwise 16-pane sashes all with projecting stone
sills and flat-arched heads. Rendered end stacks, ridge stack over bay 2.
