SU 98 SW SLOUGH LOWER CIPPENHAM LANE (south-west
side)

House. Mid C16, with late C16 addition to left and C18 and C19 addition to rear.
Timber framed with red brick nogging and red brick additions to rear. Old
tile roof, hipped to left and with catslide over outshot to right. 2 framed
bays and 2 framed bay gabled cross wing to right with exposed queen post truss.
2 storeys. Left-hand block jettied on 3 sides with moulded bressumer. End
stacks in front of and behind right-hand outshot, stack at rear to left and end
stack to addition at rear. First floor 2-light casement to left with small
casement to right, ground floor glazing bar sash to left and small 3-light
leaded window to right. First floor 2-light casement in cross wing to right
with ground floor leaded cross window and C20 glazed door to left. The
house stands within a moated site.
