House. Late C16, extended C17, restored and extended mid C20. Part timber
framed with brick infill, part brick; old tile gabled roof. Irregular plan,
3 gables to south west, large C20 extension on north west. 2 storeys and attic.
Chimneys mostly rebuilt. South-west front:- 3 gables, each with a small
leaded attic casement, a 6-light leaded wooden mullioned and transomed
window on first floor, similar windows on ground floor in 2 right hand gables
and 2 similar 4-lights in left gable. C20 door in timber framed porch between
left and centre gables and single leaded lights between right hand gable and
centre. The north east front has cast lead rain water heads dated 1674.
Interior:- fine late C16 open newel staircase.
