SW 83 NE PHILLEIGH

3/57 Well at approx 10 M. south east of
- Polsue Manor Hotel.

Well head. Early-mid C19 inner structure but incorporating C17 doorway. Granite and
brick. Rectangular on plan. Round headed granite doorway with straight chamfers and
stops.
Interior has brick barrel vaulted roof. Granite steps to left and reused scrolled
granite kneeler stone set vertically to right as guide post. Elaborate Medieval
granite finials used as garden ornaments nearby.
