Pair of houses. Early C19. Stucco over rubble with hipped asbestos and scantle
slate roofs. Axial brick stack. Each house has 1 room plus 1 room side and rear
wing plan. 2 storeys except single storey wing right. 1:2:1 window south front,
originally symmetrical with paired 2 window fronts flanked by slightly recessed
single storey wings. Left wing now 2 storeys. Ground floor intact with identical
but mirror image fronts each with 12-pane hornless sash in original opening; porch
with arched entrance and consoles to front and sides and pointed arched window with
intersecting glazing bars to original openings right and left. First floor, right
has large late C20 plate glass window in place of 2 original sashes plus cantilevered
flat roofed verandah. Slightly projecting eaves.
