Detached house, formerly two cottages. Early C17 with C19 alterations and
additions. Rubble with wooden lintels and double Roman tile roof. L shaped
plan set at right-angles to road. Long 2-storey, 6-window west front with C19
two and 3-light casements throughout and canted bay window to ground floor left
hand. C20 plank door to left hand cottage, C19 plank door with 2 rectangular
lights to right hand. 3 brick stacks. Interior. Central room to left hand
cottage has large inglenook fireplace and wide beam carved with tracery.
