GV II
Gatepiersand railings. c.1829. By the Morrisons of Ireland. Yellow
sandstone ashlar and wrought iron. Low ashlar walling set with
wrought iron palings curving forward towards the road at either side.
To the centre at either side of the driveway, are 4 ashlar piers of
cross section with voluted shoulders to either side of the projecting
central cap. The two piers nearest the centre have finials in the
form of eagles, and shields in relief to their upper bodies.
