Farmhouse. C17 remodelled in mid C19. Painted rubblestone with asbestos slate roof
with hipped ends and half-hipped end to projecting rear wing. Large projecting
rubblestone stack with brick shaft, and further brick stack to rear on left-hand
hipped end. Projecting rubblestone stack with brick shaft on right-hand side wall.
Plan altered with house possibly re-orientated. Front south range 2 room plan with
central cross passage. Rear wing projecting on right-hand side incorporating
staircase projection.
2 storeys regular 3 window south front. Ground floor with C19 4-light casement with
glazing bars beneath moulded timber lintel. Late C19 timber and glazed porch with
gable end. Slate roof with barge boards. Part glazed timber panelled door within.
C19 3-light casement to right beneath moulded timber lintel. Slate hood above.
First floor with two 12-pane sashes with crown glass and without horns. To right
horned 16-pane sash with crown glass.
To rear, projecting wing with hoodmould and labels over partly blocked ground floor
opening and 2-light casement without glazing bars. Above 16-pane sash beneath wider
ovolo-moulded timber lintel. C20 window to right. To right of projecting wing,
slate string above tripartite sash in partly blocked opening.
Interior not inspected. Could possibly contain interesting interior features.
