Beam engine house for tin mine. Circa mid C19, repaired as ruin 1984 for the
National Trust. Granite rubble with granite dressings except granite ashlar to bob wall.
Plan: rectangular 1 cell plan engine house plus masonry walls in front of bob wall(north east) for former winding machinery.
Exterior: 3 storeys. Bob wall has central doorway over basement doorway; opposite gable wall has central window opening to each floor; left-hand (wing) wall has doorway, right, and right-hand (wing) wall has window.
