Farmhouse

Granary over possibly shippon or stable. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with
granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with gable ends.
Plan: rectangular plan with double flight of external steps to opposing
loading/winnowing doorways.
Exterior: 2 storeys. East front has a ground floor doorway approached under the
landing of the stairs so that the stone landing forms a porch. Small ventilator
windows. Monolithic mounting block adjoins the rear steps. Both front and rear
steps are steeper to one side, presumably for quicker descent.
Interior: not inspected.
Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of
Cornwall.
