Formerly Schoolmaster's house and schoolroom, 1836 (provisional list).
Brick with hipped grey slate roof and central rectangular brick
chimney. A symmetrical front of 3 storeys, 3 windows wide. Projecting
gabled porch of brick with Tudor arched opening. All front windows
are Gothick casements with mock bar-tracery heads, Camber arched and
stone cills. Windows to sides and rear altered. Boarded
door, altered. A flat-roofed double garage, added at the back, is not
prominent.
Interior. Two large chamfered oak ceiling beams in the back room,
lower storey. In the former schoolroom a flat ceiling has been
inserted, which is said to conceal unusual trusses (Provisional List).
