Farmhouse, now house. Late C16 or C17. Timber framed with rendered
infill and plain tile roof. Drive front: projecting wing at right
with stone plinth and 6 x 4 cells of uneven small framing with framing
to the gable. To the left of this is a recessed range with 13 x 3
cells of small framing and tension braces. At the far left is a beam
with a double 4-centered arch cut into it which may be the lintel of a
window which was blocked. The left hand gable end has 5 x 4 cells of
small framing with timber framing to the gable and a considerable
quantity of new timber. The rear has 13 x 3 cells of uneven small
framing to the right. At the left is a projecting gabled wing which
has 6 x 3 cells of small framing and a timbered gable. All the
fenestration is of C20 date.
