Farmhouse. Early C17 with C19 additions and alterations. Timber
framed with brick infill and a plain tile roof. Two storeys and
attic. Entrance front: to the right is the later portion of 2 bays.
Central ground floor doorway with gabled porch before. To either side
of this are 3-light C19 casement oriel windows. To the first floor at
either side are semi-dormer windows with gablets above. To the left
of this is the earlier portion which has superimposed canted bay
windows to the ground and first floor. To either side are
corner-posts with brackets supporting the jettied first floor and
gable with moulded bressumers. To either side of the central window
at ground floor level are 3 blocked lights set in the upper wall and
having ovolo-moulded mullions. Similar arrangement to the first
floor. Small framing and a 2-light C20 window to the gable. The left
hand side has 8 x 3 cells of small-framing on a brick plinth with
angle braces to right and left and to the centre.
Interior: Chamfered beams to the ground floor ceilings and panelled
doors.
