C16-C17. Timber framed and plaster painted black and white; 3 storeys. Built
on angle of street. C18 sash windows and 8 mullioned wood casements, original
except for leaded lights. Some restoration. C19-C20 shop fronts with modern
fenestration. .Probably built after the Great Fire of 1583.

Nos 12, l6 and 18A, 18, 20, 20A and Nos 22 to 28 (even) form a group.
