House: c.1840. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge
stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 2 stone chimneys. 2-storey,
symmetrical 3-bay front. End bays have 16-pane sashes under flat
wedged stone heads. Reeded doorcase with rosettes in the corner has a
4-panelled door. 12-pane sash above. Considerable portions to rear
of main block. Formerly known as Ivy Cottage.
