House, visible features probably largely mid C19 for Rowland Egerton
Warburton. Brown brick in English bond; graded grey slate roof. 2
storeys plus attic; 3 rooms. Corbelled band at 1st floor; door of 6
fielded panels at back of basket-arched gabled porch. 3-light wood
mullioned and transomed casement to lower storey to each side of
porch; similar 5-light casement far right; two 3-light windows and 1
of 4 lights far right to upper storey. Window lights to both main
storeys are of 1 pane. Recessed brick gabled dormer to attic has
three 2-pane lights. 3 hearts in raised brickwork to lower storey;
raised saltire and 2 diamonds to upper storey. Corbelled chimney on
each gable-end; ridge chimney right of central room; each has 2
separated chamfered flues.
Interior altered. 2 stop-chamfered oak beams with rear ends
concealed. ~ ~~
