Pair of cottages now one. Circa 1840s. Painted stone rubble with steeply pitched
slate roof with gable ends. 2 gabled dormers to front. Rear projecting wing with
gable end. Projecting rubblestone stacks with brick shafts on gable ends. T-
shaped plan. In each cottage, entrance probably led straight into main room with
dairy to rear. 2 storeys, symmetrical 3-window front. Ground floor with 2 original
entrances with shouldered arches now blocked in centre beneath slate hood. Flanked
by 2 triple 1-light windows with casements with glazing bars beneath slate hoods. In
2 gabled dormers above, 3-light windows with central raised light and moulded frames.
Between dormers, two 2-light casements. Entrance now in lean-to porch to rear.
Interior Simple granite lintels to fireplaces.
