SX 45 SW MAKER-WITH-RAME ARMADA ROAD (south side),
Cawsand

9/79 Apple Tree Cot

GV II

House. C17 with later alterations of late C18/early C19 and C20. Rubble, rendered,
asbestos slate roof with gable end stack to left and rear lateral stack to right
enclosed by rear wing.
Central entrance to passage with room to right and smaller room to left, stair in
room to right backing on to passage; 2-storey rear service wing to right.
2 storeys, ground floor has 4-panelled door to left of centre, with 12-pane sash to
left and 2-light C20 casement to right. First floor has small 6-pane light to centre
and 9-pane C20 light to right. To rear, 2-storey wing of late C19 forms parallel
rear range with 3-light casement at ground and first floor to inner side; rear of
main range has rear passage door with 4-pane sash to right and 2-light casement at
first floor.
Interior: passage has panelling, door with strap hinges to rear; room to right has
winder stair with cupboard under, which has 2-panelled fielded door with L hinges;
staircase has fielded panelling to sides.
