House. Early C19. Painted stucco front and painted rubble sides and rear. Hipped
asbestos slate roof with wide eaves on 4 sides around central valley and brick
chimneys over side walls. Double-depth plan with principal room on either side of
entrance hall passage with stairs to right behind right-hand room and with smaller
service rooms at rear.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south east front with original 16-pane hornless
sashes. Plinth and slate sills. Central doorway with original 6-panel door. 4
granite steps. Doric porch with 2 unfluted columns and simple entablature to leaded
wooden roof. Original round-headed stair window to middle of east wall.
