Small farmhouse. C17. Painted slatestone and cob walls, asbestos slate roof
(originally thatched) with stone chimneys over gable ends. 2 rooms cross passage,
central stair plan, now with small C20 3 storey wing to rear middle possibly
replacing original stair turret. 2 storeys. Irregular 2 window south front. Small
ground floor windows wider spaced. Lean-to slate roofed porch with central doorway
off-centre to left. First floor windows probably enlarged and eaves raised late
C19 /early C20. All 4-pane 2-light casements. Left chimney breast, external with
quadrant oven projection in angle; right gable end has buttress, possibly original.
