TL 60 17 HIGH RODING THE STREET
4/3 Pippins

GV II

Cottage, C18 or earlier. Timber framed, part plastered, part weatherboarded,
roof thatched. 4 bays, with external chimney stack at each end. Single
storey with attics. Ground floor, 4 C20 casement windows, plain door; one
C20 casement window in eyebrow dormer. Roof half-hipped at SW end, gabled
at NE end. An old photograph in the NMR, ref. 137/3-7, shows it in the form
of 2 cottages, with an additional door between the 2 SW windows, otherwise
unchanged.
