Circa 1700 building, timber framed with later brick front and modern shop front
on the ground floor. Of 2 storeys with attics, 3 window range on the first
floor, the central window has 8 pane hornless sashes, thinly barred. Side
windows are 6 pane hornless sashes with marginal sashes and mullions. All
windows have stucco architraves with moulded hoods. Parapets coped with moulded
stone slabs. Roof gambrelled and peg-tiled; with 3 flat topped dormers. One
red brick chimney stack at the south gable. (RCHM 23).S
