SW 72 SE MANACCAN

Farmhouse. C18, remodelled circa late C19. Stucco over cob walls, granite sills.
Asbestos slate roof, once thatched. Brick chimneys over gable end left and to gable
of rear wing and over hipped side wall, right. Cast iron ogee gutters.
Plan of 2 parlours at front with cross passage between leading to central stair
against back wall and kitchen wing behind right-hand parlour approached by quadrant-
on-plan passage taken out of corner of parlour.
2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window north front with slightly right of middle
wide doorway with 6-panel door, top 4 panels later glazed. Curious pillared porch
with moulded acroteria. Hornless 4-pane sash left of doorway, 4-pane 2-light
casement and 4-pane horned sashes to first floor.
Interior has much C18 detail including some 2-panel doors with fielded panels,
panelled shutters and column turned balustrade to side of landing.
