Church of St Constantine
GV II
Chest tomb. Circa late C17. Granite ashlar with grey limestone (marble) lid. The
chest has a moulded cornice, but the plinth is buried; the limestone lid has a
chamfered soffit and its inscription is worn away. It is most unusual inasmuch as
the long north side of the chest has an ogee shaped bracket at each end with moulded
coping.
