House. Circa early C19. Coursed dressed granite and granite rubble, dressed granite
quoins, jambstones, sills, lintels and ashlar band as lintel course. Three-quarter
hipped grouted scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over the side walls. Cast-iron
ogee gutters.
Plan : double depth plan with 2 equal rooms at the front with cross passage between
leading probably to stair hall between 2 shallower rear service rooms.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window south-west front with central doorway. C20 partly-
grazed door; circa late C19 or C20 4-pane horned sashes to the ground floor window
openings and original openings. GPO letter box at ground floor, right.
Interior not inspected.
It is interesting to compare the mid-floor lintel band to that of Lonon Farmhouse qv.
and Tregoose Farmhouse qv., also in Sithney parish.
