Lower Kitleigh Cottage

House, formerly farmhouse. Circa C18. Whitewashed, cob, slate roof, brick
chimneys. Single depth plan, probably 2 rooms originally ground floor now one
room. 2-storey, 3-window range with off-centre Georgian door of six panels with
contemporary frame under canopy of large slates. Ground floor windows replica
timber sashes, 8 panes per sash. First-floor windows timber sashes. 8 panes
per sash. Ground floor room right has slate floor; large, widely-spaced
ceiling beams, some renewed, and massive brick-lined fireplace retaining one
granite jamb. Cloam oven to right gable end stack, four pigeon holes on right
front and others on right gable end. Rear windows renewed without glazing bars.
