The Vicarage

Vicarage, now private dwelling. Probably mid C19. White-painted stucco, slate
roof. Double-pile plan. Two storeys; symmetrical 3-bay facade to garden has
central doorway (up 3 steps) with 6-pane glazing in the door and 3-pane
overlight, flanked by two 12-pane sashed windows, all these openings with
floating cornices on fluted consoles, and three square 9-pane sashes above; hipped
roof with side-wall chimneys. Left return wall has tall lean-to addition. Right-
hand return wall has central doorway protected by flat-roofed porch with 2
fluted columns, plain frieze and moulded cornice, and small 9-pane sashed
window above. Interior not inspected.
