Farmhouse. Circa early C19. Painted rubble with granite dressings. Slurried
scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over the gable ends. Large external rubble
chimney breast towards rear, right.
Plan: Double depth plan with 2 rooms at the front flanking an entrance hall leading
to stair hall between rear service rooms. Right-hand rooms are slightly wider.
Parlour at front left with study behind, living room on right with kitchen behind.
Exterior: 2-storeys. Nearly symmetrical, 3 window south front with doorway and
window over slightly left of middle. C20 door. Original 16-pane hornless sashes.
Original door and sashes at rear including taller 18-pane stair sash.
Interior: Unaltered interior with most of its original structure and features
including dog-leg stair with hand rail curving down to form newel. Panelled doors
and plaster ceiling cornice with moulded band in parlour.
