House. C17 or earlier. Granite rubble, rendered at the front. Rubble stack at left
hand gable end with tall brick shaft. Partly grouted scantle slate roof sweeping
lower at rear.
Plan: double depth plan including later outshut and C19 wash house at rear left. 2
large rooms at the front with cross passage leading to central stair between the rear
service rooms. Earth-closet at front left.
Exterior : 2 storeys. Irregular 2 window north-west front with doorway slightly
right of middle. Square window openings with 12-pane 2-light casements except for
wider 3 opening to first floor right with 12-pane 2-light casement and 9-pane
casement. Left of the doorway are 2 windows close together, the left-hand one in
higher opening perhaps at some time used as doorway.
Interior not inspected but said to have no early features visible.
