Farmhouse and adjoining granary over shippon. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with
granite dressings. Slurried scantle slate roofs with brick chimneys over the gable
ends of the house. Cast-iron ogee gutters.
Plan: 2 room plan house with central lobby and barn adjoining on higher ground, left.
Later C19 single storey lean-to at rear of house.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window house front with nearly central
doorway and barn, left, with ground floor doorway and first floor winnowing doorway
to first floor right of middle. C20 ledged doors. Circa late C19 or C20 4-pane
horned sashes to house.
Interiors: not inspected.
One of a group of C17-C19 farmhouses in an unspoiled hamlet of farmhouses and farm
buildings.
