Todcroft and
adjoining former barn

Farmhouse now private house. Probably late C17. Painted rendered walls under
graduated greenslate roof with coped gables; rendered chimney stacks. 2
storeys, 2 bays with former barn to right under common roof. Cross-passage
entrance has C20 door in painted stone surround. C20 casement windows in
painted stone surrounds. Former barn has similar ground floor windows.
Interior has heck partition and firebeam. Beamed ceiling in principal ground
floor room. 2 pairs of upper crucks in bedrooms. Rear wall has small square
original chamfered-surround upper-floor window.
