Inn, initialled and dated on door lintel I.S. F.S. 1789. Thin sandstone blocks
with rusticated quoins on chamfered plinth; sill bands to both floors and moulded
eaves. Graduated slate roof with stone copings, kneelers, and end chimneys.
Symmetrical; 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central door in pedimented architrave has single
sash to either side and 3 above, all with glazing bars in stone surrounds. Former
stables adjoining south end are lower; coursed, squared rubble with quoins under
graduated slate roof. Central segment-headed wagon door has C20 gabled garage
entrance to left and 2 doors to right. Inn extended 2 bays into stables with
2 C20 windows in stone surrounds on each floor at extreme left.
