Farmhouse and stables. Probably late C17 with early C18 alterations. Red
sandstone rubble walls partly painted, under graduated sandstone slate roof with
red sandstone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays with right 2-bay stables under
common roof. Centre stone porch with plank side door. Sash windows with
glazing bars in painted stone surrounds with remains of central flat stone
mullions. Small right firewindow. C17 Tudor-arched cross passage doorway at
left of stables and 2 off-centre plank doors in plain openings; loft doorway and
right slit vents. Interior has an inglenook with heck partition, firebeam and
small C18 fireside cupboard. Beamed ceiling. Roof on stables has collapsed.
Derelict and unoccupied at time of survey. Right barn and left lean-to
extensions are not of interest.
