Farmhouse. Dated and inscribed over entrance S & NS 1728, with C19
alterations. Red sandstone rubble walls with flush quoins, under graduated
greenslate roof with rebuilt banded red sandstone chimney stacks. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Centre C20 door in C18 stone surround under shaped date stone. Sash
windows in C19 stone surrounds and right blocked fire window. Right return wall
has small blocked C18 opening. Rear extension has plank door and sash windows
with glazing bars in stone surrounds, and round-headed stair window. Adjoining
farm buildings are not of interest.
