farmbuildings 60m north
of Shotwick Hall.

GV II

Threshing barn and shippons: early C18 and early C19, some C20
alterations. English and English garden wall bond orange brick.
Mainly corrugated asbestos roof, partly Welsh slate. L-shaped plan.
North-west range is a threshing barn. South side has central pair of
large board doors with smaller door to left. Line of ventilation
slots above. Large inserted opening to the rear.
Interior: stone flagged threshing floor. 1 truss of tiebeam and
diagonal struts, wavy purlins.

North-east range is a shippon and hayloft. Mixture of inserted doors
and 3-pane openings below, line of 4 circular pitch holes and
ventilation slots and patterns above.
