House and shop. RCHM 72. C16-C17 with an early C18 front of 3-storeyed
timber-framing on cellars with a large pedimented attic dormer (in a modern
casing) in a Welsh slate roof. There is a heavy moulded eaves cornice and
the East gable end is roughcast. On the ground floor is a good modern double
bow window to the shop front. The 1st floor has 2 tall C18 pedimented windows
with a continuous entablature. In the 2nd floor are two plain sash windows
in moulded frames. The 2-storeyed roughcast wing at the back has an overhang
on the East side and the remains of early window frames in the ground floor.
Interior. RCHM page 165a. Includes an original C18 wall staircase and some
C17 stone fireplaces.

All the listed buildings on the South Side form a group.
