(East Side)

2/125 Holly Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C16/C17 with later alterations. Timber framed and plastered. Red
plain tiled roof. Left external red brick chimney stack. 2 storeys and attics
and cellar. 2 window range of diamond leaded casements. Attic window to right
return. Central vertically boarded door in moulded surround. Cast iron trellis
porch with ornate cornice. Wing at rear. 2 bays. Jowled storey posts. Arched
halved bracing to walls. Side purlin roof. Original attic floor boards.
Inglenook fireplace. C18/C19 painted brick cellar. Original C17 window with
ironmongery.
